STEREO Ahead HI Images of the Moon

The HI instrument was aimed at the Moon near the lunar swingby on 2006 December 15

The low-resolution images are all rather similar to each other.
Click on the UT time of the image given below to see it; the time 
is in the form hhmmss so 215500 is 21h 55m 00s.  The images show 
features, such as Mare Crisium, on the Earthlit dark side of the 
Moon.  Since it was nearly new moon, most of the far side (as seen 
from Earth) of the Moon was sunlit and overexposed in the HI images, 
saturating the CCD to create a vertical white bar.
